2024 Sprung Brunch
The Alumnae gather together to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year.

The Steering Committee for the Maryknoll Alumnae Association of New York organized a festive spring brunch at Congee Village, Flushing. 31“girls” from the classes of 1952-1998, 2 spouses, and 2 Maryknoll Sisters from the Motherhouse were in attendance.
Lots of hugs, chatter, and laughter. Lots of “long time no see!” - we ate to our hearts content the delicious dim sum, noodles, lobster with sticky rice and dessert, purchased MCS souvenirs, and afterwards, several attendees walked off lunch in Fort Totten Park to support the walkathon for the MCS Educational Trust.
Wendy said, “It’s the best time I’ve had since Covid…seeing old friends, making new ones”.
Anne… “Such a happy reunion”.
Eleanor… “A warm and wonderful gathering.”
Fanny… “Seeing so many friends, with good food in a great atmosphere”.
Emily… “The party is super-organized! Thank you!”
The first gathering of the Maryknoll Alumnae Association of New York (NY, NJ, CT) since the pandemic was held at Congee Village, Flushing, NY. Members of the classes from the 1950s to the 1990s enjoyed the camaraderie. The wonderful memories reminded us that we are Maryknollers, with shared roots, and deep gratitude to the Maryknoll Sisters for our excellent education.
